Just Like Daddy
Coop’s mimicking has been going on for some time now but it’s starting to take on a whole new level. On occasion, Coop’s Dad has been known to use a Koozie to keep his beverage of choice nice and frosty cold. We have a drawer full of them and quite an extensive collection. Over the years, we have given each other Beer Koozies as gag gifts (sorry Mark if you didn’t think it was a gag) and the collection seems to be rubbing off on Cooper. Coop now insists that we put a Koozie on his sippy cup. He prefers his Dad’s favorite John Deere one (apparently it has some history behind it). I would prefer he use the cute one in the shape of a black bear, or trout or alligator but he MUST use the one his Dadda uses. As soon as the sippy cup comes out and before we’re finished pouring, Coop goes straight to the drawer, grabs his Koozie and says ‘cu’ (that means cup in case you needed a translation). This should be a hit at the playground. At least he hasn’t taken a fancy to the Master Bait and Tackle Shop Koozie. That would be far more embarrassing. And you got to give the kid props for knowing how important it is to keep your beverage cold.

Heh heh heh!
I really like your new picture up top! You are channeling Martha Stewart.
Cooper is adorable. That sippy cup Koozie (cozy? sp?) is super cute. He's just really smart. He knows that the milk stays cold longer with the koozie.
Martha Stewart...Ha! Thanks.
Koozie, Cozy, tomato, tomAto. It must be a regional thing. I always called them cozy's until we moved to FL and people referred to them as koozies. It just kind of stuck.
Ha! I love it. Good choice Cooper! Sounds like the John Deer was a good pick. I could just see myself and John, well and any of you ladies sitting on a park bench choosing non-PC koozies to put on children’s sippy cups. Unfortunately not all adults would find that as amusing as we would. Thanks for the cute pictures!
you can officially no longer make fun of Sara for drinking out of a pink camo Cabelas cup. John Deere is just as bad:)
Sara copies Iffy alot too, more than she copies me i would say. I think it is the daddy novelty factor.
