Fun with Oma and Grandpa

All good things must come to an end (as sad as it might be). Today Coop and I took Oma, Grandpa Toby and Ishi (their cute little dog--Cooper's Uncle) to the airport. After almost 3 weeks of fun, fun, fun it was hard to say goodbye. Cooper really bonded with them and it was soooo much fun to watch it all play out. It broke my heart when we pulled into the garage after returning from the airport and Coop heard his doggies barking. He immediately blurted out EEE-eeee which is what he calls Ishi. I had to explain to him that Ishi was on an airplane with Oma and Grandpa and he'd have to give Kokanee and Targhee a kiss instead.

Now it's just Coop and I for the next week as Mark is back in Seattle for training. It sure does feel quiet around here. I hope Coop can get back into the routine of hanging out with boring old Mom.

Thanks Oma and Grandpa for a wonderful visit and for making our Holidays so special. We wish we could see you more often!

Awww. That is hard to watch little ones say goodbye to visiting relatives. I cry every time because the kids are sad to see people leave. It is especially hard if it has been a longer visit.

Back to the normal routine. That picture of Coop with his Oma and grandpa on the couch with the box heads is great! So sweet.

Amy, just had dinner/beer with Mark and John. He needed a break from his class and gave John a call. It was nice to see him again and fun to hear him talk about where you live right now and talk about you and Cooper. I miss you!

Did I meet Oma and Grandpa Toby at your going away party at Jason's house in C-bad when town was super flooded? I guess one of the many times. I met one of your parents but couldn't remember who.

Gretchen~Mark told me he had fun getting together with you guys. I'm glad he was able to get away and take his mind/stresses off of class for awhile. He also told me you'd be coming to GRSM towards the end of John's gig. We will have to get together FOR SURE.

And yep, Toby and Lis did stop by at Jason's house in C-bad. Good memory.

OH. MY. GOD. You two just reminded me about Lila walking into the glass door that night!! I forgot all about that!

I do remember that. Oh the memories. I remember that Lucas was there too! He wasn't even 2 weeks old yet---such a little partier.

Amy~I was already thinking about a way or time that I could come visit and see you! That would be fun!

i remember that too! And that was the first time I met Lucas too.

The box head game looks super fun.

My dad and brother just left, Sara is going to wake up and wonder where they are. it does suck to live far away from the grandparents.
