Cooper sure does miss Gma and Gpa. He still talks about them and thinks that they're still on an airplane. He went with Mark to drop them off at the airport and thinks that they are flying around in the sky. Any time the topic of Gma and Gpa comes up, Cooper mentions that they are on an airplane. Think of all the frequent flyer miles they're raking in! Flying since last Tuesday !?! That's what I call a looonnnnggg flight. I hope they can recover from the severe jet lag.
Again, I can't mention enough how happy I am that Cooper was able to really get to know his Grandparents during this visit. They took such great care of him and I just know it's something all of us will cherish forever. One of my favorite mottos of this visit is "Swing 'til you puke!!". Grandpa is soooooo diligent at pushing Coop's swing that he made him puke (Cooper, not Gpa). Now that's what I call some serious Swinging!
Last night was my first taste at putting Cooper to bed ALONE with Cruz. Mark was called out on a fire right before bed time which made Cooper very upset. As I was settling him down with story time, Cruz decided he wanted some lovin' too. I had my first taste of reading story to sad-toddler that missed his Daddy while holding fussy-baby. Then I had to deal with convincing sad-toddler that all my attention was on him and not on fussy-baby. With a little patience (on Cooper's part) all turned out okay. Sad-toddler became sleeping-toddler, fussy-baby became happy-to-be-held-baby and Mommy became thank-God-the-kid-is-asleep-Mommy.
On the baby news front: Cruz finally lost his umbilical cord stump this morning. Hooray! No, I didn't save it to make a pretty charm necklace and I won't be mailing it to the grandparents or anything like that. I just had to mention it since it's one of Little C's first milestones.
Here are some cute pics of the boys and Gma Linda and Gpa Pat.
Look who decided to venture out of the garage on their bike!!!!!

You can do it, Amy! But the count down until husband/daddy comes home...I totally get it.
I absolutely LOVE the pics with your parents. Grandparents are soooo important.
When all hell breaks loose take a deep breath and remember that we (your blogging Momma friends) are just a phone call away!
I hope today was a good day.
Ohhhh, I am missing holding a little baby now. Not enough to HAVE another one mind you, but he is the cutest little bundle.
Hope you had a great day today.
