Grand Lake is still beautiful nonetheless and very relaxing. We enjoyed some fun in the park, a fabulous lunch on the patio, some beach time and ICE CREAM.

Grand Lake
One of our adventures with Mark included a trip to Grand Lake. We drove through the Park on Trail Ridge Road and got to show the boys the other side of the park. It had been 10 years since Mark and I had been there together. The first thing I noticed were all the bettle-killed trees and the areas that had been completely clear cut. The area where we camped 10 years ago (forest service land where my brother worked) was completed wiped out.
