Dem Bones

Today was supposed to be (foreshadowing) Wear Your Halloween Costume Day at story time. Cooper was really excited about it. The stories and puppet shows were Halloween themed and everyone was encouraged to dress up.

Well, we had a little costume mishap yesterday. The good news is that it happened a week before Halloween so we have time to repair said costume before the big day.

Rather than skip story time all together, I decided Halloween shirts would still be acceptable without being those lame people that are too cool to dress up.

Luckily we weren't the only ones that didn't dress up. Apparently, not everyone got the memo. A week ahead is kind of early if you ask me. Especially if you're one that tends to scramble at the last minute like I do.

We still participated in the "costume" parade set to ghoulish (on a toddler scale) music. Besides, who doesn't like to strut their stuff? Costume or not.....
